Summeriffic

For more of my photographs, please visit my Flickr site.

Ah, summer. I love summer. Summer is all about the beach, the free time, food, and more beach! haha.

This time we went to the wonderful island of Boracay. I brought my Holga 120N, that was given to me by my girlfriend for a Valentine's Day gift, and a couple of rolls of Fujifilm Superia 100 ISO, 120mm Film format. Took advantage of the bright summer sun. Luckily, all photos were exposed well. I love it. I captured the feel and the colors of summer. Everytime I look at these photos, i miss Boracay.

Took some photos of the palm trees, shores, and the ever popular sand castles, built by the people of Boracay, with matching dates. haha.

I brought my Snapsights Underwater Camera too. Loaded with Fujifilm Superia 400ISO. Its fun shooting this little toy cam. I never thought it would give me such wonderful pictures with good exposures with its fixed 125th of a second shutterspeed, much like that of my Holga 120N.

Works well even above water. Too bad, its broken already. I forced the film advance knob, not knowing that i put in a 24 exposure film and all the while i thought that i loaded a 36 exposure film. Now, the shutter wont cock.

Here are some pictures I took underwater. Me, my sister and my girlfriend were just playing around and took photos of ourselves underwater. Its so fun!

  1. Hi Denmark, Thanks for being the first follower of my Blog ;)
Good to see you like classic photo equipment too!
It happens that I visited Boracay just a couple of months ago. We were in a hotel just around the cliff you see at the horizon in your first photo. Nice Holga shots by the way!
